The Technical Support Engineer responds to customer inquiries via phone, email and web, diagnoses and analyzes problems, and provides solutions to customers.

- Provide telephone-based and electronic (email/web-based) technical support for TechExcel Products.
- Create and contribute to the development and maintenance of TechExcel’s internal knowledge sharing knowledge base.
- Write SQL scripts to resolve database related problems.
- Provide Pre/Post Sales support to TechExcel Sales Team and Customers.
- Represent TechExcel to customers in a positive and professional manner.

| Qualifications: |
- B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills (with at least 1 year support experience).
- Strong knowledge of relational database management theory and practice.
- Experience in Windows operating systems and managing web sites on Microsoft server platforms.
- Programming and SQL experience a plus.

- Industry Expertise: Develop competitive analysis, identify industry trends.

| Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s degree required; Degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Understand software development process, Agile and/or Iterative development methodologies.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Industry conference speaking experience and Agile development certificates like SCRUM Master are preferred.
- Must have analytical skills to establish and maintain measures of performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively discuss issues/challenges within development team and with other team leaders.
- Must have 2 – 5 years of product management experience and/or customer support experience.
